Our reactor is fully stainless steel with two vessels and sits inside a cryogenic freezer kept at -35 deg F. This is done so the entire reactor is super cooled allowing maximum efficiency for the winterization process. One vessel contains the biomass in specialized bags, the other vessel is pumped full of 200 proof ethanol. The ethanol is then flushed through the biomass vessel using a cycle pump controlled by a VFD. This is done under pressure and extremely low temperature until the cannabinoids are completely extracted. The tincture then runs through a winterization process and is filtered throughout 3 different micron sized filters; 1, 5 and 10 respectively. The tincture is then taken to the TruSteel Auto Vap 15 to recover the ethanol and extract the crude oil.
